Overnight Postpartum Support

EDUCATE, EMPOWER, AND SUPPORT

New parents are often surprised by the sleep deprivation that can occur after the birth of a baby. Sometimes a good night's sleep makes all the difference in how you can function during your day.

Feel rested and refreshed.

Overnight support is both amazing and valuable in those early weeks at home with a newborn. Caring for families who breastfeed, bottle-feed, or combination feed. With my vast experience, you can feel confident that your baby has competent, supportive care. Establishing good sleep leads to a lower risk of postpartum mood disorders and anxiety, better health, improved milk supply, more harmony with your partner, and overall enjoyment of parenthood and life. Overnight care is particularly helpful for first-time parents, expanding families, cesarian section recovery, difficult pregnancy or birth experience, maternal or infant sleep challenges, new parent adoption, single parent, or when returning to work. Allow for rest, healing, and bonding. I hope to bring a sense of calmness to your recovery.

Having overnight care can be extremely helpful in reaching overall success for setting nighttime goals for your baby. Depending on your baby's age, your doula can also help guide you in establishing a routine and schedule to help your baby sleep longer stretches at night. She can help you with gentle sleep coaching to get things moving in the right direction toward the goal of having a baby sleep through the night.

I support families anywhere from an 8 to 12-hour overnight shift. I work closely with families to ensure I meet your expectations and, most importantly, get you the most sleep.
